Booking accommodation in advance

Before travelling to Western Australia’s (WA) West Pilbara Coast and its hub, Karratha, it is advisable to book accommodation in advance. Continued growth in industry and tourism throughout the region makes it a popular and exciting destination to visit.

You can book accommodation on WA’s West Pilbara Coast in advance through Karratha or Roebourne visitor centres, or take a look at the listings on the accommodation page of this site. Alternatively, you can obtain information from any visitor centre and make the booking direct with accommodation providers in the region.

To assist travellers when caravan parks are full, Karratha offers a caravan overflow park facility. A permit is required and fees are $15.00 per night. Shared amenities are available, as well as facilities for oversize vehicles, travellers with pets and emergency vehicle repairs or medical aid.
