Emma Withnell Heritage Trail

The Emma Withnell Heritage Trail, starting from Roebourne Visitor Centre on the West Pilbara Coast of Western Australia (WA), takes in the towns of Wickham, Point Samson and Cossack. The 52 kilometre trail features several historic buildings and sites within the district and presents opportunities for walking and picnicking. A trail guide booklet is available from the Karratha and Roebourne visitor centres.

Distance

38 kilometres (approximately 33 minutes)

1. Follow Karratha Dampier Road, heading towards the North West Coastal Highway.
2. Turn left onto the North West Coastal Highway, follow for 31 kilometres until you reach the town of Roebourne.
3. Turn right at Queen Street.
