Millstream-Chichester self drive day trip

Millstream-Chichester National Park is one of the most popular self drive day trips from Karratha on Western Australia’s (WA) West Pilbara Coast. In this lush tropical oasis you can enjoy pristine scenery of vast rolling hills, tranquil gorges, magnificent escarpments and winding tree-lined watercourses.

Well maintained public camp sites, gas barbecues, bush toilets and wood for campfires are all available in the park. Permits and maps can be purchased from Karratha or Roebourne visitor centres or the visitor information centre located within the park.

Directions from Karratha Visitor Centre

1. Follow Karratha Road towards Karratha town centre.
2. Turn left into Dampier Road.
3. Continue on Karratha Dampier Road for approximately six kilometres.
4. Turn left into Madigan Road.
5. At the intersection, turn right and then take first left into Millstream Link Road.
6. Follow Millstream Link road into the park entrance.
