Woodside Visitor Centre self drive day trip

The Woodside Visitor Centre self drive day trip starts from Karratha Visitor Centre on the West Pilbara Coast of Western Australia (WA) and leads you on a journey to the North West Shelf Natural Gas Venture (NWSV). Situated on the Burrup Peninsula, near the port of Dampier, this is a great spot for taking in the area’s magnificent coastal scenery, including the Damper Archipelago.

Overlooking the NWSV, the Woodside Visitor Centre offers panoramic views of this project based on the West Pilbara Coast of WA. It gives the opportunity to view models, displays and an award-winning documentary, all telling the story of this remarkable development. During the wildflower season, a stunning display of wildflowers carpets the landscape surrounding the project.

The visitor centre is manned by friendly and experienced personnel. Souvenirs of the area and the gas project can be purchased here.
